The German online adult retailer EIS has obtained the license to use the Penthouse brand worldwide. In addition to the strongly promoted and successful global brand Satisfyer, EIS is thus expanding its presence with a bang.
The Bielefeld company was able to secure one of the best-known brand names in the adult industry. From January 1, 2020, Eis will not only be able to permanently launch products worldwide under the Penthouse brand but will also become the main supplier for the internationally operating sex store chain Penthouse Stores.
The Managing Director of EIS GmbH commented on the deal: »The Penthouse brand has a worldwide excellent reputation so that we are able to offer the best possible service in combination with our two strong brands EIS and Satisfyer we see great opportunities for development to create an even more excellent experience of our products.«
EIS wants to grow
EIS has been on a high-speed growth course for years. The company has pursued a global brand strategy for its own toy brand Satisfyer, the cost of which is estimated at 100 million according to reports. Now that the Bielefeld-based company has proven that it can build brands from scratch, it is going one step further: acquiring an already legendary brand. But that’s not all.
In 2020, EIS plans to expand its entire product range and will invest massively in lingerie and hygiene products. Of course, the sextoy collection will also be strongly expanded.
