Fleshlight Distribution, the distribution arm of the well-known manufacturer of the Fleshlight, expands its range but also sets stricter requirements for dealers who order via Fleshlight Distribution.
Founded in 1998 by Steve Shubin in the US state of Texas, the manufacturer of flashlight-like strokers has developed into one of the leading producers of men’s toys. The design of the Fleshlight was so compelling that almost all current day strokers have adopted the basic idea.
In the meantime, there are several hundred variants of the Fleshlight, often with replicas of orifices of world-famous porn stars. The company also offers a wide range of automated and hands-free toys as well as sex toys for women and couples.
Fleshlight Distribution: complete range available for dealers and distributors
Distribution is often handled by the affiliated company Fleshlight Distribution. This concept seems so successful that Fleshlight now wants to distribute its entire product range through its subsidiary.
In a message to dealers and distributors, the company writes: »We are proud of where we have been able to take the brand in all these years. There have been many changes over this last year focused on revising and improving our available product selection and we have finally completed that journey. Along with our new website set to launch very soon, we have expanded our entire line to both retailers and distributors. As a company, we feel this is the best solution to give all customers equal access to our products.«
Minimum order quantity to be introduced
However, there is now a new restriction which could be irritating to smaller dealers. A minimum order quantity of six units per SKU will apply to all Fleshlight products from 20 September. The manufacturer justifies the move by saying that this would lead to faster and more efficient handling of orders.
It seems clear to the company that this could offend some dealers. The statement says: »Fleshlight is no stranger to the adult industry and we are very aware these minimums will make it difficult for some customers to order directly as often as they may like. This is why we are also opening up our entire catalog to distributors. It is our goal to ensure nobody is left behind during this transition.«
