Shape-Shifting Dildo By European Company Comes to the United States

The maker of the world’s first shape-shifting dildo, a company called Dodil announced that it is undergoing rebranding efforts in order to expand its products to the US. The Swedish-German manufacturer published its rebranded mission, slogan, and POS-materials.

The world’s first shape-shifting dildo will now be sold with a completely new slogan. It is simple, precise and right on message: »Design your dildo«. With the rebranded marketing Dodil wants to expand its business in the US market. The new strategy was cooked up after the European company managed to win a nomination for one of the influential XBIZ Awards.

Peter Gustavsson is Head of Communications at Dodil. He says: »Ever since the moment we had the first prototype ready and really started to go public with the Dodil, we knew it would be a talkie. When we now get the same buzz also within the industry, we are entering the next level.«

The Dodil represents the first step towards customized sex toys which could one day end the one-size-fits-all approach so many manufacturers still use. According to XBIZ, it works like this: »After submerging the silicone-coated pleasure device in boiling water, its initial rigid state turns soft and moldable. Users can create myriad textures and shapes to fit their unique anatomy, and then freeze their designs with cold water. The creation process can be repeated again and again due to Dodil’s thermoplastic interior.«

The company’s message is seducing: »You are unique. And so is the Dodil, by presenting a radical answer to an ancient issue. Our patent is the first ever solution confiding the ever-changing design of a sex-toy into the happy hands of the user. The initial dodil-dildo is pioneering a series of flexible products, based on the same benign and easy idea.«

Individuality and sustainable living are two of the main issues the company tries to attach to the Dodil. »With the deepest regard for both the individuals’ anatomy and Mother Nature, the products are made with non-toxic and biodegradable materials. Thus, by making a wide range of unchanging and less safe sex-toys obsolete, the dodil is driving a constructive change towards both a healthier user-economy and environment.«

Gustavsson says: »We are pinning up new flags on our world map week by week. The contact with new partners is very much an educational journey, from where we learn to sharpen our tools to help them to best present something as ingenious as a design-your-dildo Dodil. We aim at being client-smart in all aspects. Along with our new media and point-of-sale, it will be really easy to assist our business partners in tapping into the minds of consumers with our revised message, as it both explains the product and also drives curiosity.«
